U.S. Shipping Status

Import Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped to the U.S. are subject to U.S. import duties and taxes.

To ensure smooth delivery, Nordberg Putters prepays these import charges at the time of shipping so your order can clear customs without delay. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are paid by the customer.

This is how international shipping normally works: when goods are sent between countries, import duties and taxes are set by the destination country and paid by the buyer.

Separate Invoice After Shipping

After your order has been fulfilled and made ready for shipping, Nordberg Putters will send you a separate invoice for the import duties, taxes, and customs fees that were paid on your behalf. After receiving payment the order will be handed over to the courier.

The invoice reflects the actual charges set by U.S. customs authorities and must be paid according to the invoice terms.

Shipping Method

  • Orders up to USD 800 are shipped with Posten and handed over to USPS
  • Orders above USD 800 are shipped with a commercial carrier such as FedEx

In all cases, import duties are prepaid by Nordberg Putters and invoiced to the customer on shipping.

Good to Know

  • Import charges are set by U.S. authorities, not by Nordberg Putters
  • We cannot calculate the exact amount in advance
  • Delivery depends on customs clearance
  • Unpaid customs invoices may delay delivery or result in return
